一室素淨、純粹的灰，伴隨樸實木石肌理及鐵件有序線性，為老屋每寸細節，篆刻新生活締留的印跡；區域、功能、風格，無一須以常規定義，僅是在此處，或辦公作業、或接待親友、或悠閒停留、順心所欲，空間情境即能隨之轉變，無形化作獨屬居者的愜情天地。

思及業主長期往返海內外各國，設計團隊引沉靜灰階色系定調案場，醞釀舒緩思緒的平和氛圍，賦予屋主「歸鄉返家」時無可取代的無壓安穩，同時，藉由低彩度純淨畫面，配合整體未經繁複裝修的減法設計，彰顯舊屋結構與天然異材的原始質地，讓時光於建物拂過的日常陳跡，轉為映現場域真實美感的細膩點綴，成就一幢漫溢人文溫度的雋永侘寂美宅。

A restrained gray palette, layered with the natural textures of wood and stone and framed by clean ironwork lines, breathes new life into every corner of the renovated home. Here, spaces are not confined by traditional definitions of function or style; instead, the environment adapts fluidly to the resident’s daily rhythms — whether for work, gathering with friends and family, or quiet moments of rest — creating a uniquely comfortable and personal retreat.

Inspired by the homeowner’s frequent travels abroad, the design team adopted a calming gray tone as the foundation of the space, cultivating a tranquil atmosphere that offers a lasting sense of comfort and belonging upon returning home. The low-saturation palette and minimalist approach, free from excessive decorative intervention, allow the original character of the old house and the authenticity of natural materials to remain at the forefront. Traces of time embedded within the architecture are preserved and transformed into subtle details that celebrate the site’s inherent beauty, resulting in a timeless wabi-sabi residence filled with warmth and quiet sophistication.
